I was experiencing severe leg cramps at night. So much that I could not sleep. I was also about 6 months pregnant with my 2nd child. I was taking magnesium orally to help with the leg cramps, but it was not enough. You can only take so much internally before it can have a laxative effect and that can be very unpleasant for some.
